Aviation powerhouse, Emirates Airlines has revealed plans to venture into Metaverse and NFTs in other to serve Customers and Staff better. The initiative aims to place the company ahead of others in the aviation sphere regarding Metaverse. The project is expected to fly in a few months.
Furthermore, the initiative includes building a symbolic trademark monument in the Metaverse. Also, the Emirates Pavilion at the Expo 2020 site will be converted into a hub for nurturing talents. The program will embrace talents across the world and support them to drive the company’s quest. Targeted areas include Metaverse, NFTs, Web 3.0, and other digital services.
Also, the Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline, Sheikh Ahmed Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, spoke about the initiative. He said that Dubai and the United Arab Emirates are leading forces in the virtual sphere. He added that their advancement into the industry is guided by a structured-policies that are backed by best practices.
The Chairman also said that Emirates Airlines believes strongly in technological innovations to modify its services. Also, he emphasized that the company is willing to invest heavily in the digital industry. Accordingly, the investment will include human and financial resources. With the hope of improving revenue, and customer-staff experience, as well retaining the status of a trailblazer in the sphere.
Sheikh Ahmed concluded that the whole scope fits perfectly into the United Arab Emirates’ vision for the digital ecosystem. Above all, Emirates Airlines is open to engaging associates on its advancement toward Web 3.0, Metaverse, and NFTs. He added that Partnerships to scout and nurture talents in the industry will be with open arms.
Efforts of Emirates Airlines in the Digital Sphere

It offers customers to have a foresight into traveling experiences with the Airline even before the initial journey. With the initiative, customers get to see the 360-degree view of its cabin innards design. They can also book and confirm their preferred seat through the 3D initiative.
Recently, Emirates Airlines set a record of becoming the first Airline to develop its Virtual Reality application on the Oculus store. It gives precise insight into what the interior of the company’s Flagship A380 and Boeing 777-300ER look like.
