Popular Web3 investor and market maker, DWF Labs has partnered with renowned gaming ecosystem, Tevaera to revolutionize the future of Web3 gaming. DWF announced the strategic partnership via a post on its official X page. According to the post, Tevaera will rely on the technical support from DWF Labs to develop a ZK Stack-powered gaming ecosystem and build the first decentralized L3 gaming.
Worth noting that Tevaera has also secured $5M in a funding round. According to the firm, the funds will be used to advance its gaming ecosystem and zkSync’s ZK Stack. That said, the funding round was led by Laser Digital, Nomura Group. Other investors in the round are DWF Labs, Hashkey Capital, Fenbushi Capital, Matter Labs, Draper Dragon, Faculty Group, Crypto.com Capital, Cogitent Ventures and among others.
According to Tevaera, the funding round represents a significant milestone for zkSync following two years of its extensive development. The zkSync project also launched a Game-IP-first approach to identify and address the challenges within web3 gaming infrastructure.
Meanwhile, the CEO of Laser Digital, Nomura Group, Jez Mohideen said the firm is ready to assist Tevaera as it embarks on the journey of unlocking the next era of Web3 games. He also believes that the investment will create new opportunities for ZK and on-chain powered gaming.”
Tevaera making waves with its multi-game product
Since its establishment, Tevaera has continually expanded its community. Its multiplayer game, Teva Run has over 850,00 soulbound players from more than 100 countries. Worth noting that Teva Run combines the features of Guardian NFT and Teva Market, a comprehensive gaming marketplace.
Similarly, the co-founders of Tevaera, Robin Babu and Gav Negi stated that they are stunned by the support received from investors. The execs further that the funds will empower Tevaera to set new industry standards for building, launching, and playing multi-genre Web3 games.
In addition, Matter Labs Head of Web3 Entertainment and Media, Rich Kim also shared some insights about Tevaera. According to Kim, Tevaera has shown remarkable resilience and technical acumen by building an EVM-compatible, Multiplayer framework for on-chain games. He further that the funds from the round will help its team to fasten their roadmap building a Stack-powered, end-to-end gaming ecosystem.
Earlier this month, DWF also entered a strategic partnership with Carbon, a Web3 browser. As revealed, the partnership was geared towards creating more opportunities in the decentralized web landscape.
