Partisia Blockchain, a new blockchain project looking to solve the blockchain trilemma — decentralization, security, and scalability, has announced the onboarding of Iulia Mihailescu as its Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). This was done via the Partisia Blockchain Foundation, an independent non-profit supporting the development of the blockchain.
An Invaluable Addition
Aged 38, California-based Iulia is a veteran marketer with many years of fintech experience working with PayPal and Google. And as a marketer who played a pivotal role in the integration of PayPal into the crypto space, Iulia will bring her expertise to the C-suite behind the world’s most advanced zero-knowledge blockchain, Partisia.
Working at Google EMEA, she was Product Marketing Manager and Business Developer and was responsible for growing on-line marketing revenues.
Then for another ten years, Iulia served in various marketing roles at PayPal, most recently as Head of Crypto Go-to-Market. There, she was responsible for the competitive positioning and launch strategy in the digital asset market. However, she was able to do this by focusing on trust and accessibility as the core value propositions, thereby encouraging mass adoption.
In all, Iulia possesses a high level of expertise in spearheading disruptive innovation, advocating for the digital economy, and leading high-performing teams for world-leading fintechs. And will be joining the foundation’s senior leadership team, reporting directly to Brian Gallagher, Partisia Blockchain Co-Founder and Board Member.
Iulia also has a sparkling educational background. She holds a Masters in Marketing Science from EDHEC Business School in France and two Bachelor of Science degrees – one in Political Science and the other in International Business.
