OKX launches sponsorship for Australian Crypto Convention

Popular crypto exchange, OKX has emerged as the name sponsor of the imminent crypto convention that will be unfolding in Australia. The crypto exchange confirmed the development in its Thursday Twitter post. According to the announcement, the exchange is aiding the convention as part of its commitment to fostering crypto popularity and adoption.

Notably, the convention is expected to unfold in Melbourne, identified as the coastal capital of southeastern Australia state of Victoria. As announced, it will hold in November, 2023. According to OKX, the convention will avail more opportunities for traders and investors to get a varieties of cryptocurrencies. Worthy of note that Crypto Den, a project launched in 2017 organized the convention to help crypto community understand the fundamental of digital currencies.

2023 Australian Crypto Convention to host 15,000 attendees

Remarkably, the convention is expected to host at least 15,000 attendees across the globe. Those expected at the event, according to OKX, includes crypto and blockchain enthusiasts, innovators, technologists, business leaders, influencers and global leaders. More so, it will be spiced with interactive experiences, exclusive launches, key networking opportunities, blockchain and crypto training, educational workshops and many more.

It is noteworthy that this convention is not the first of its kind in Australia. Recall that in 2022, the same convention unfolded in the country, featuring scores of actors within the crypto sphere. According to findings, about 4,500 attendees graced the convention. More so, it featured 140 leading industry speakers, 80 exhibitors, 100 sessions and 5 after parties.

The 2022 Australian convention also paved way for immersive gaming experiences and launches hosted by TCG World, Sandbox and others. Beyond this, the event serves as an avenue for hundreds of beginners to delve into the cryptoverse. Meanwhile, the 2023 convention, proudly sponsored by OKX, promises to feature a minimum of 200 speakers and exhibitors each. This thus makes it a bit bigger than the 2022 edition of the convention.

Australian Crypto Convention remains a hub for web3 networking – OKX director

The managing director of financial markets with OKX, Lennix Lai commended the resilience of the Australia crypto community. Further, the director expressed the delight of the OKX team to emerge as the premier sponsor of the convention. According to Lai, the convention remains a hub for web3 networking and fertilization of knowledge.

Also, the managing director of the Australian crypto convention, David Haslop also reacted to the development. According to Haslop, OKX remains one of the most respectable exchanges across the globe. More so, he expressed joy over the partnership and sponsorship by the exchange to foster the convention.
