Renowned cross-chain NFT marketplace, Magic Eden has confirmed a strategic partnership with Sequence, a dedicated platform for web3 developers. The firm announced the collaboration on Friday, emphasizing how it will focus on assisting developers in the web3 space.
As revealed, the synergy will rely on Magic Eden’s vast market reach and Sequence’s powerful web3 development stack to streamline the building process for creators. More so, Sequence in a separate blog post stated that the initiative will focus on developers working on games, apps, and monetization solutions.
With the partnership, developers can enjoy more support on content distribution, monetization, and interoperability all within a platform. Furthermore, Magic Eden as a result of the partnership has selected Sequence as its go-to infrastructure partner for powering in-game and in-app marketplaces.
According to the blog post, the strategic partnership now empowers projects building with Sequence to easily integrate with Magic Eden as their primary marketplace. This move positions project developers to enjoy access to trusted distribution, liquidity, and a vast user base from inception.
Also, the initiative comes with a gas sponsorship that enables game and app publishers to pay for network fees on behalf of developers and end users within their network. The web3 platform added that developers can now enjoy access to reliable NFT on-chain data through Sequence Indexer and Node RPC Gateway.

Meanwhile, the Chief Business Officer of Magic Eden, Chris Akhavan provided more details on the strategic partnership. The executive said Magic Eden is committed to providing developers access to needed tools and opportunities to flourish.
Akhavan narrated that the partnership with Sequence is a significant milestone. The Chief Business Officer opined that infusing the developer infrastructure of its partner and Magic Eden’s expansive network and liquidity will establish a more open foundation for web3 experiences.
Additionally, the Head of Strategy and Partnerships of Sequence, Sam Barberie said the collaboration with Magic Eden is a great leap in unifying experiences for users and offering resourceful flexibility for developers. Barberie added that the synergy will empower creators on Sequence to monetize their content on Magic Eden.
