Renowned cryptocurrency exchange, AAX has partnered Moonpay, a global provider of crypto payment solutions. The crypto exchange announced the development in its blog post. According to AAX, the partnership will enable its users to buy cryptocurrency with 42 currencies.
Moonpay also confirmed the partnership in a separate blog post. According to the provider of crypto payment solutions, AAX users can now “use MoonPay to top up on crypto without leaving the platform.” The platform boasted that its purchases run instantly, thereby reducing the time users spend when making trades.
According to AAX, services offered by Moonpay covers over 160 countries spread across Asia Pacific, Europe, North and South America. It further that the crypto payment solutions provider supports every major credit and debit cards. More so, AAX noted that Moonpay allows mobile payments and bank transfers.
Meanwhile, Moonpay also extols AAX as an exchange trusted by more than three million crypto traders across the globe. It says the crypto exchange possesses “fast and secure trading platform, widely available on desktop, mobile, API, and FIX.” However, Moonpay wants newbies to rely on the exchange’s beginner-friendly guides to assist them through their journey. It further that AAX possesses a 24/7 customer support to aid the demands by users, particularly newbies. As for experienced traders, Moonpay says the platform offers “advanced trading options, such as BTC/ETH futures contracts with leverage.”
AAX launches zero fee campaign to celebrate Moonpay’s integration
To felicitate the new feat, AAX has announced its resolve to launch a zero fee campaign beginning from October 14 to 27, 2022. At this period, users are eligible to purchase cryptocurrency without incurring any transaction fee through Moonpay. The crypto exchange affirms its commitment towards providing users with best services.
Oliver Jeffcot, Senior BD Manager at MoonPay reacted to the development. According to Jeffcot, this partnership “with AAX is an important milestone in our goal to onboard the world to web3.” Jeffcot added that “our infrastructure built directly into the exchange is simplifying the crypto purchasing process for AAX users of all experience levels.”
Remarkably, MoonPay has, in recent times, been unrelenting in expanding its reach. Recently, it officially entered the Brazilian market in courtesy of its sponsorship of Clube de Regatas do Flamengo, a football team in the country. As revealed, the deal enables the crypto payment protocol to help Flamengo leverage NFTs and web3 towards enhancing its fan engagement. Additionally, MoonPay, with the deal becomes the major sponsor of Flamengo’s basketball team.
Before partnering AAX, Moonpay collaborated OpenSea, a popular peer-to-peer marketplace for NFTs. The partnership allows Opensea to use Moonpay’s NFT Checkout to provide its users with easy access to NFTs. Through the integration of the NFT Checkout, OpenSea users are able to “easily purchase an NFT using a debit or credit card, sidestepping the need to first acquire cryptocurrency.” This thus simplifies the purchasing process and opens the marketplace to a wider customer base.
