The venture capital of popular cryptocurrency exchange, YZi Labs has announced a $1billion Builder Fund to double down on new projects in the BNB chain. The firm confirmed the development in a post on its X page on Wednesday, where it revealed it plan to use the fund to invite more long-term founders to focus on BNB-based innovations. As revealed, some of these innovations include trading, RWA, AI, DeSci, DeFi Payments, wallets- leveraging the high-performance, low-cost infrastructure of BNB Chain and the enhanced tools, funding, integrations, and $460M+ user ecosystem.
In the post, YZi Labs affirmed its commitment to utilizing the BNB Ecosystem as the backbone for humanity’s new scaling laws. According to the post, the venture capital plans to use Web3 to democratize access and ownership, while AI enhances human potential, and biotech to improve the quality of life. YZi plans to achieve this through targeted incubation, strategic investments, and partnerships, empowering founders to transform these principles into impactful realities.
It’s worth mentioning that this development comes shortly after BNB Chain hit a new milestone, recently recording 26 million daily transactions. It also ranks #1 in DEX trading volume and daily active users, solidifying BNB as the third largest digital asset by market capitalization.
Over the past few years, YZi has played a key role in keeping this momentum going. The team has backed several projects within the BNB ecosystem, including PancakeSwap, ListaDAI, Aspecta (from the MVB program), and Aster, which just went live. Additionally, institutional involvement has ramped up through initiatives such as the BNB, the RWA fund by China Renaissance, and the BNB Yield Fund by Hash Global.

She also highlighted how decentralization, on-chain scalability, security, and genuine distribution are coming together to shape the future.
