Going further, Nobitex added that upon detecting the unauthorized access, affected systems were isolated. The exchange’s internal incident response teams also swung into action initiating a comprehensive investigation in accordance with the regulatory standards.

The exchange however revealed  that users’ funds are safe in the cold wallet, which were not impacted. Nobitex added that only a portion of its hot wallet, used for day-to-day liquidity was affected by the breach.
