Renowned centralized cryptocurrency exchange, Kraken has signed a global brand partnership with the English Premier League team, Tottenham Hotspur. The exchange announced the partnership deal on Tuesday via its official page on X (formerly Twitter).
As a result of the deal, Kraken will become the first official crypto and web3 partner of the club’s men’s and women’s teams. Also, the exchange will be the official sleeve partner of the two teams.
Meanwhile, the partnership is targeted at improving fans’ experience and focuses on mending the knowledge gap between fans and virtual assets. The collaboration with Kraken has added Tottenham Hotspur to the list of English Premier League teams with sponsorship from a crypto firm.
Top clubs in the EPL like Chelsea and Manchester City have signed a partnership deal with Bing X and OKX respectively. Hence, the recent partnership agreement between Tottenham Hotspur and Kraken underlines the growing presence of crypto in football.
Reaction To The Collaboration
The chief revenue officer of Tottenham Hotspur, Ryan Norys disclosed that the football club intends to “drive innovation” through its partnership with Kraken. The executive also referred to the exchange as a true leader in its field.
Similarly, the chief marketing officer of Kraken, Mayur Gupta also weighed his opinion on the partnership. Gupta revealed that the exchange is looking forward to bringing exciting events and experiences throughout the collaboration.
Furthermore, the chief marketing officer discussed how supporters of the club and crypto enthusiasts both have a passion for what they believe in. He added that the exchange has a mission of making crypto accessible to everyone just like football.
Gupta underlined how the partnership with Tottenham Hotspur will help bring crypto to a big audience of football lovers.

It is worth mentioning that Kraken is one of the cryptocurrency exchanges that has shown interest in the U.S. election. A host of crypto firms have donated heavily to the election with the aim of supporting pro-crypto candidates as part of their plans to build a good business atmosphere for the crypto market in the U.S.
Recently, the co-founder of Kraken, Jesse Powell, announced in a post on X that he donated $1 to the 2024 presidential campaign of former United States President, Donald Trump. The co-founder made the donation mostly in ETH and disclosed that he’s supporting Trump because he’s the only pro-crypto major party candidate.
