The largest cryptocurrency exchange by trading volume, Binance has partnered with Global Fintech Institute (GFI) to foster fintech education, professional development and innovation. The exchange confirmed the development in a blog post on its website, stating that over 500 professionals will be awarded scholarships.

It is worth noting that the partnership between Binance and the Global Gintech Institute was first announced at the GFTN forum in Japan. As revealed, the partnership seeks to furnish professionals with the skills needed to thrive in an era characterized by artificial intelligence (AI), blockchain, and evolving financial regulations.

Binance plans to award over 500 scholarships to support professionals in enhancing their skills in the Crypto Regulation and Compliance course offered by GFI. The course is also designed to meet the need of professionals on regulatory bodies, financial institutions, and compliance roles. The program would also avail regulators and compliance professionals with a comprehensive understanding of blockchain, cryptocurrency, and financial regulations.

Crafted by leading industry experts, the 16-hour online program would give insight on key areas in the industry. Some of these areas include AML/KYC compliance, financial crime prevention, blockchain forensics, cross-border regulatory frameworks, and RegTech solutions, among others.
