GAMEE, a web3 gaming subsidiary of Animoca Brands has launched a trading card game, Moon Cards that allows the use of meme coins in-game. According to a blog post released on Wednesday, the gameplay mechanics of Moon Cards will allow players to compete against each other using trading cards connected to the value of meme coins.
In the announcement, GAMEE established that the new game will be based on the popular instant messaging app, Telegram. By that, the firm is opening up access to the newly launched game, ensuring it is accessible by gamers from every corner of the world.
Furthermore, the web3 gaming company narrated how the new game will open up new market dynamics in the meme coin space. According to GAMEE, Moon Cards provides an avenue for all levels of traders to interact with various types of meme coins.
As revealed, the game will launch with 150 varieties of Moon Cards, allowing players to collect and merge them for enhanced game power. Game cards within the collection feature some of the top meme coins on well-known blockchain networks like Solana, TON, and Ethereum.
The CEO of GAMEE, Martin Zakovec provided key details on the new unveiling, describing it as an interactive and strategy game. The CEO said Moon Cards is a dynamic web3 trading card game that demands players to understand the “dynamics of different meme coin communities”.

More so, the firm said the new game will create a pathway for investors to make key investment decisions on meme coin trends without holding the tokens directly.
Hence, the score of each card represents the real-life value of their underlying meme coins, GAMEE added. Also, Moon Cards updates the Star Value and Card Score of each card daily using key metrics like price movements, market, and social media sentiments, marker conditions, and many others.
GAMEE announced that the project will feature a marketplace where players can trade, buy, and sell game cards, consequently creating an economy for all users. As part of the game mechanics, Moon Cards will come with a battle that will see players compete against AI-powered meme bosses.
Meanwhile, there are also plans to introduce a battle arena where players can play against each other for more prizes. Likewise, GAMEE revealed how it provided early backers who participated in the project presale with exclusive invite links for new users. With the concept, the project team said presale participants of Mood Cards will earn extra game card packs for inviting new players.
