Renowned crypto payment solutions provider Alchemy Pay has obtained a Money Transmitter License (MTL) in Kansas. The company announced this milestone in a press release on Wednesday.

This approval from the Kansas Office of the State Bank Commissioner (OSBC) marks a significant step forward for Alchemy Pay. It also underscores the firm’s ongoing commitment to adhering to the highest compliance standards across the United States.

With the Kansas license, Alchemy Pay now holds Money Transmitter Licenses in eleven U.S. states, including Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, New Hampshire, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Oregon, Wyoming, Arizona, and South Carolina. Notably, this is the third MTL the company has secured in 2025, reflecting its expanding regulatory footprint as it continues to pursue licenses in other jurisdictions.

More details on the Alchemy Pay Kansas license

The Kansas MTL, regulated by the OSBC, officially grants Alchemy Pay the authority to conduct money transmission services for both individuals and businesses within the state. This move supports the company’s goal to offer seamless Fiat-crypto conversion services across the United States.

Meanwhile, this license arrives at a crucial time for digital asset regulation in the United States, amid a changing legislative landscape and the booming wave of real-world asset tokenization. Securing the Kansas Money Transmitter License is also vital to Alchemy Pay’s core mission of bridging traditional fiat and cryptocurrency economies. Also, it directly enables the company to offer compliant fiat-to-crypto exchange services, paving the way for accessible and regulation-friendly pathways for both users and institutions.

This stronger regulatory stance will open the door for new business initiatives, including Alchemy Pay’s recently launched RWA platform. This platform is set to be the first to provide direct fiat-to-RWA access, letting users purchase tokenized stocks using traditional fiat payment methods. It also supports Alchemy Pay’s full suite of payment services and expands its market footprint, laying the groundwork for its upcoming proprietary stablecoin and the stablecoin-based Alchemy Chain.

Ailona Tsik, Alchemy Pay’s CMO, remarked that obtaining the Kansas Money Transmitter License underscores the company’s commitment to compliance and transparency across all markets it serves. Tsik also added that this milestone strengthens Alchemy Pay’s operational foundation and enables responsible innovation, from RWA access to stablecoin infrastructure.
