Crypto.com partners Canary Capital to facilitate Canary CRO Trust

Popular cryptocurrency exchange, Crypto.com, has collaborated with Canary Capital to launch Canary CRO Trust for US investors. The exchange confirmed the partnership in a Monday blog post. According to the post, Canary CRO Trust is the first private investment vehicle that exposes U.S investors to CRO, the native token of the Cronos network.

The Canary CRO Trust is expected to provide various investment benefits to users. They include tracking of CRO’s market price, and provision of a simple and transparent method for investors to gain exposure to CRO and the Cronos blockchain ecosystem through securities products. It is worth noting that Cronos is a decentralized, open-source blockchain protocol designed using the Cosmos SDK.

The CEO of Canary Capital, Steven McClurg, has given his comment on the partnership. According to McClurg, Crypto.com has, over the years, paved the way for bringing institutional-grade access to the crypto market. He also added that the exchange’s commitment to security, innovation, and growth further distinguishes it from other actors in the digital asset space.

Crypto.com partners with Green Dot Financials

Over the past few months, the exchange has consistently entered into strategic partnerships to make various digital products and services available to United States users. In April, Crypto.com collaborated with Green Dot financials to launch new banking and money management tools and features for customers in the US. It also collaborated with Bread Financials to bring simple, personalized payment, lending, and saving solutions to customers. It also saw to the launch of crypto credit card program in the United States

Crypto.com has also expanded its operation beyond the coast of America by partnering with a South Korean fintech service provider and the top four Value-Added Network (VAN), KSNET. The partnership enables foreign travelers in SK to utilize the exchange’s payment platform for transactions at prominent fashion, beauty, and duty-free stores across the region.

In the Middle East region, the exchange also entered into a Strategic Memorandum of Understanding with Emirates Petroleum Company PJSC (Emarat) to facilitate crypto payment at the Emarat service station outlet.
