Securitize, the largest tokenization platform by assets has partnered with Wormhole to develop innovative interoperability solutions. This collaboration was confirmed in a blog post published on Tuesday.
The partnership between the two entity will enable the seamless transfer of tokenized funds across various blockchain networks supported by Securitize. The collaboration also plans to avail investors with flexibility in managing and transferring the tokenized asset across various blockchains. This in turn would bring enhanced liquidity, scale and accessibility to the tokenized ecosystem.
Similarly, Securitize plans to leverage the wormhole messaging protocol. Additionally, Securitize will utilize its own smart contracts in a customized approach, enabling the creation of tailored solutions that meet a fund’s specific needs.
Wormhole also plans to unlock on-chain yield opportunities for investors in Securitize’s tokenized funds. These investors will benefit from enhanced features such as flexible custody solutions, near-instant native transfers, and on-chain dividend functionalities.
The co-founder of Wormhole Foundation, Robinson Burkey gave his insight on the partnership. According to him, the partnership highlights the potentials of multichain tokenized assets for bringing institutional finance on-chain. The exec expressed Wormhole enthusiasm to work with Securitize to provide clients with the flexibility they desire. He further noted that investors are increasingly seeking to transfer their assets to their network of choice.
The Co-Founder and CEO of Securitize Carlos Domingo also reacted to the partnership. According to him, Wormhole is equipped with the necessary tools needed for institutional-grade security and flexibility. He added that this tool provides ease of access to its clients, allowing them to seamlessly scale across new networks.
Securitize integrates with Zero Hash
Meanwhile, it is worth noting that this development comes barely four months after Securitize integration with Zero Hash. Notably, Zero Hash is a renowned crypto and stablecoin infrastructure platform that facilitates conversion between U.S dollars and digital assets. This integration with Zero Hash allowed investors and digital assets companies to stay on-chain for the entire investment lifecycle.
