Leading crypto exchange, Binance has finally launched Cristiano Ronaldo NFT collections. The exchange announced the development in its Friday Twitter post. According to Binance, the exclusive NFT collection featuring the football star man is available on its marketplace.
Recall that the exchange had in June signed a multi-year partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo. As reported, the partnership manifested to expand the popularity of NFTs, particularly amidst football fans. Notably, Binance said it aims to undergo a global campaign through its collaboration with the Cristiano Ronaldo. More so, the exchange sees the partnership as a navigator of its crucial entry into the world of NFTs.
As part of the signed deal with Ronaldo, Binance intends to create a series of exhibitions for sale. More so, Binance said those serial exhibitions exclusively available on the Binance NFT platform. Worth noting that the NFTs capture designs developed in conjunction with Cristiano Ronaldo.
Then, the CEO of Binance exchange, Changpeng Zhao while commenting on the partnership said his team is ready and excited to provide Ronaldo fans with exclusive interaction sessions with the football icon. According to him, Ronaldo is one of the greatest footballers who went beyond football to become an idol in various industries. He further stated that the icon holds one of the largest fanbase through his genuineness, potential, and philanthropic acts.
Also, Cristiano Ronaldo when reacting to the then partnership revealed that he holds the connection with his fans in high esteem. He affirmed his commitment to the efforts geared towards remarkable experience and access through the Binance NFT outlet. According to him, his affection for the collection will encourage his fans to subscribe to it.
Binance in Abu Dhabi
Worth noting that this development comes a few days after the exchange obtained regulatory approval from Abu Dhabi Financial Services Regulatory Authority for its custodial services. As revealed, the approval allows Binance to offer custodial services to its professional clients. However, Binance is expected to offer these services to client in line with the guidelines of Financial Service Permission as stipulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority.
Earlier this week, its NFT market place integrated OpenSea NFT. According to Binance, the integration occurred as part of the first step in the upgrades of its marketplace. As announced, the integration of Opensea NFTs will enable users to explore various non-fungible tokens from multiple blockchains and marketplaces. In addition, Opensea’s top 200 NFT collections will be listed on the marketplace using the ERC-721 standard.
