Popular crypto exchange, Binance has integrated Opensea NFTs into its marketplace. The crypto exchange announced the development in a Wednesday blog post on its handle. According to Binance, the integration manifested as part of first phase of upgrades on its marketplace.
According to Binance, its integration of Opensea NFTs will allow users to explore non-fungible tokens from multiple blockchains and marketplaces. Also, it announced that its upgraded marketplace will now include the majority of Opensea’s top 200 NFT collections using the ERC-721 standard. Further, Binance says the integration remains an exciting milestone for its marketplace as it aims to become the go-to platform for NFTs.
Meanwhile, Binance said its NFT marketplace looks to integrate more marketplaces and chains. It also aims to expand its digital asset offerings. Currently, the marketplace has also incorporated upgraded metrics and data visualizations on the NFT collection and individual NFT pages for enhanced price analysis.
Notably, Binance NFT has also integrated the data of Opensea marketplace to leaderboards on the Stats page. More so, it incorporated UI and UX optimizations for various features, including the homepage, marketplace main menu and others.
Binance standing tall despite bear market
Despite the ongoing bear market, Binance and its subsidiaries have been unrelenting in expanding and improving its offerings. Just today, Binance Fan token launch its “football Fever 2022 project.” As reported, the project manifested in order to commemorate the imminent world cup in Qatar. Worthy of note that the new online challenge gives fans the chance to win $1 million worth of rewards. To participate, fans would have to register, and predict the outcome of upcoming matches in the world cup.
The head of NFT and Fan tokens at Binance, Lisa He noted that fans around the world would be tuning in to watch this historic tournament. He said the exchange is thrilled to commemorate the historic tournament with the project. According the He, “not only is this a great way to feel a part of the action and have some fun, but players also have the chance to win incredible prizes, totally unique experiences and collectible NFTs.”
Also, on Tuesday, the exchange announced the launching of an NFT collection in collaboration with football star, Cristiano Ronaldo. Recall that Binance, had in June, signed a multi-year partnership with the football star to enhance the adoption of NFTs. Now, the exchange says it will debut the collection on its marketplace next Friday.
